What is a Sand Spreader

A sand spreader is a device that is used to apply sand to a snow covered area in order to create traction for safe walking or driving. SnowEx sand spreaders come in many sizes and capacities including pull behind and bed mounted hopper systems with a capacity of up to 1.4 tons of sand, hitch mounted spreaders designed for sanding smaller areas, and walk behind sand spreaders for sanding areas such as sidewalks.
